Romanticized Love

What is Love? and, why do we crave it so desperately? This is an age old question that I believe has not plagued man-kind until modern times. I view Love as a concept, or idea that was crafted to stimulate our need to be entertained. Who doesn’t enjoy a good story? Couple that with the element of hope, and you have the basis of desire. Yet, the question remains, why Love? Fear is one of the greatest of emotions that we as humans have. The other is Joy. Nothing warms the soul more than a great Love story, and this is why the evolution of “Romanticism”  has dramatically shaped our idea of what Love is.
